How parlay odds are calculated
Turn each leg's odds into decimal odds, multiply them together, then multiply by your stake. That's the full payout, stake included. Profit is the payout minus the stake.
$10 × 6.96 = $69.58 paid, $59.58 profit (+596)
American odds convert like this: a plus number +150 becomes 1 + 150 ÷ 100 = 2.50. A minus number -110 becomes 1 + 100 ÷ 110 = 1.909.
What happens when a parlay leg pushes
At most sportsbooks a pushed leg (a spread or total that lands exactly on the number) drops off the parlay, and the rest pays at the odds of the legs that are left. A 3-leg parlay at -110 with one push pays like a 2-leg parlay: $10 returns $36.45, not $69.58. If every leg pushes, you get your stake back.
Some books treat ties or same game parlays differently. If your slip's terms say otherwise, go by the slip.
What are the odds a parlay hits?
Each leg's price implies a chance: -110 is about 52.4%, +150 is 40%. A parlay hits only if every leg does, so the chances multiply. Three legs at -110 imply about 14.4%, roughly 1 in 7, and that's before the book's margin. Every leg you add makes the payout bigger and the chance smaller.
